"On Demand" Digital FBI Output

The CDA is a collection of images on film. These are interrogated using an FBI printer that has a scanning upgrade. The required image(s) is located and displayed on the screen.

At this time four courses of action are available:

A  View the screen and merely read the information.
B  Produce a paper copy to be read or distributed by hand, mail or fax.
C  Automatically digitise the image(s) and send to the relevant PC.At this
time the image can also be faxed or e-mailed straight from the screen
    to the end user.
D  Have the images transferred to any other electronic media including
    CD-Roms.

The On Demand scanning technology incorporates universal ISIS therefore allowing quick conversion of film based images into most other MIS and imaging systems. The system can also deliver enhanced, crisp, top quality prints from standard laser printers. With up to 400dpi resolution this equipment provides unmatched image quality even from photographs or X-rays utilising either 16 or 256 levels of greyscale.
