FBI Reader/Printer Output
The Reader/Printer is the basic output unit of the CDA. The units can convert Film Based Images onto a screen for purely visual reference or produce a paper copy for the client user. There is a complete spectrum of units varying from the fully automated (PC driven) to the completely manual. Your system requirements will dictate the specification level.
Future Proof
A CDA based on paper input can expand with computer technology, and if it does, these reader/printer units can accommodate any new situation. By adding a scanning upgrade, available at any time, any FBI reader/printer, as well as doing its normal work, can digitise any FBI records so that they can be incorporated into the new digital network.
