Genus and Inotec win at DM Awards 2011
At this year's DM Awards in London, Genus won website of the year for their new online shopping site www.paperscanners.co.uk. The website is host to a wide variety of book, document, photographic and medical scanners from experienced and influential manufacturers in Germany and Taiwan, exclusively to Genus in the UK. Launched in July 2011 the site is an easy to use, informative and extensive shop from day to day scanners to niche large format scanners.

Venex Acquisition
Genus, a long established specialist in the Document Management services industry, is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Micrographic, Xerox Large Format and Scanner Equipment service and consumables division of Venex Technical Developments Ltd. With over 35 years experience in the micrographic and document management arena, Genus is delighted to expand its existing service division.
All existing contracts held by Venex will pass to Genus with immediate effect.
The Venex products and services will join the rest of the Genus Group which consists of:

Ce-Bit 2011
Genus will be supporting its German partner Inotec at Ce-Bit, the world renowned trade fair, in Hanover, Germany. As well as representing the Inotec range of document scanners we will also be displaying the wide range of services that we provide.
AIIM 2011
After a successful first AIIM Road Show in June 2010, Genus will be taking part in the June 2011 Road Show, 13th – 16th June. The exhibitions will be in Edinburgh, Bolton, Birmingham, and London. This show is now the biggest and only one of its kind in the UK for information management.
