Zeutschel and DATAWIN GmbH, both market leaders, are united by a steadfast dedication to quality and service, backed by decades of experience. This year, the Zeutschel Partner meeting was held on the 8th and 9th of July at the company’s Tübingen-Hirschau site. Among the many exciting developments announced was the cooperation between Zeutschel and DATAWIN GmbH to create a brand-new Hybrid Scanning System. This system will comply with both FADGI and ISO 19264-1 standards and will be capable of scanning both loose and bound documents effectively, while being gentle on the paper.
The Hybrid scanning system functions by integrating both overhead and sheet feed scanners, utilising a single scanning software as the interface. This system ensures scans are saved sequentially, named in order, and can be exported collectively without merging. Transitioning between scanners is effortless, requiring just the press of a button, which enhances user-friendliness and operational efficiency.
The inaugural Hybrid scanning systems are slated for release by year’s end. The first model will be established by linking InoTec SCAMAX® 3×1 and SCAMAX® 6×1 desktop document scanners with Zeutschel OS C series overhead scanners.
Subsequent releases will incorporate additional Zeutschel scanner models.
Steffen Unmuth, Chief Commercial Officer of DATAWIN GmbH:
“The quality of a hybrid scanning system depends on the quality of the combined scanners. By integrating the InoTec SCAMAX® document scanners into its portfolio, Zeutschel has made it possible to combine the leading models of their scanner classes to form a user-friendly, high-throughput and both FADGI-and ISO 19264-1-compliant premium solution.”
Christian Hohendorf, CEO of Zeutschel GmbH:
“This premium cooperation will benefit all users who want to digitize both bound and unbound documents within one project: in the highest quality and in a paper-saving, yet resource-efficient manner. This cooperation is a significant step for both companies and ensures that our customers can benefit from the best technologies on the market.”
