With more and more organisations in the UK & Ireland becoming aware of cultural heritage standards such as Metamorfoze, FADGI and ISO, the requirement to understand the parameters and have the ability to test for compliance, increases. In order that Genus is prepared to answer questions that clients may have and have the ability to calibrate equipment for standards compliance, our Technician Simon Bloomfield has just spent a few days at Zeutschel’s headquarters in Tübingen Germany.
Simon has been trained on the Zeutschel QM Tool, understanding the UTT test chart and how to create testing parameters for standards compliance. The course was not only attended by Zeutschel distributors but also by customers wanting to learn more about the QM Tool. The training was delivered by Volker Jansen, who is mentioned in the acknowledgments for the Metamorfoze Imaging standard.
If you are an owner of Zeutschel equipment and wish to attend this course in the future, please register an interest with Genus and we will make you aware of dates as they become available.
The QM Tool tests for the following parameters and along with UTT test charts is available from Genus in the UK & Ireland.
