Once again, we will be exhibiting at the Museums and Heritage Show on the 15 + 16 May in London, Olympia, Stand M4. The Show offers two jam-packed days featuring more than 50 free talks, 150 suppliers, consultants and a raft of special features. Having exhibited at the show for over 7 years our presence continues to grow, and this year is no exception. With the addition of 2 extra Genus stands, not only will you be able to see the very latest from our wide range of digital imaging technology, we will also now have stands dedicated to our specialist digitisation services and large format scanners.
On our usual stand – M4, we will be joined by our partners Zeutschel Gmbh. Zeutschel is the global market leader in book scanners, their range of software products and accompanying services is extensive and supports libraries and archives in building up digital collections on the Internet and offering digital services. As their new UK distributor, we will be available to discuss the wide range of book scanners that Zeutschel have to offer as well as showcasing the new ScanStudio. The Zeutschel ScanStudio combines the best of two worlds: the world of studio photography with the world of professional scanners. Visit stand M4 on Thursday 16th May at 12.55-13.20 to see a live demo of this completely modular camera system. With interchangeable lenses and upgradeable digital backs the ScanStudio also has a variety of copy board systems that are not only for printed originals but also for all kinds of transparencies.
On stand L4 our Head of Digitisation, Andrew Austin, will be available throughout the show to consult with you on any aspect of digitisation. With increasing pressure to deliver high-quality results on reduced budgets, there are several ways in which he can help you achieve your strategic goals by helping you get the most from your collections and archives. Andrew can advise on the most efficient processes for your specific requirements, whether that is for a current project or your aims and objectives for the future. Our digitisation studio, based in the Midlands, has been specifically designed for the digitisation of heritage and modern material and thanks to our wide range of digitisation equipment, we have the advantage of being able to offer a state-of-the-art digitisation service, on or off-site and for all forms of material. Visit the stand anytime throughout the show or if you would like to make an appointment prior to the show please contact our events manager, Hayley Kilmurry hayley@genusit.com – 024 7625 4955
And that’s not all, on stand M3 we are joined by our long-standing partners, SMA e-document. As the exclusive UK distributor for all SMA products, SMA extends our range of innovative digital capture devices by offering specialist high-resolution large format flatbed scanners through A2, A1 and A0 size to even double A0 size. Featuring the revolutionary Large Format Flatbed Scanner – SMA Versascan A0, this scanner allows the digitisation of structured surfaces such as wood, rubber, plastic, fabrics, carpet and many more types of large format material.
